This is the first trailer of our new upcoming VTT software. Sky Grotto will be launching pretty soon with many nice things such as a full blown Campaign Manager featuring our very.
View the tabletop from any direction, you can zoom out to see the whole map at once, get a top down view for counting squares, or look over the shoulder of one of your heroes at the monsters they are facing. Start a multiplayer game to play with others, whether they’re around the other side of the word or across the room. It's purely a simulation of physical miniatures on a map, without any rules, like you would have on a table at home. Gma0098, Amazing I've had this app for 5 minutes and I'm already in love with it. It comes pre loaded with amazing creature miniatures (free). Great maps (again free). And to top it off, if you don't like the free content, you can upload your own.
Never have I seen such value out of an app like this. The interface is so good I can't believe it. If you can't figure it out, your probably an idiot. But no worries because they have in app tutorials.
The.99 monthly subscription is surprising given how much content is available from the get go. This shows that the developers of this app really just want you to have the best DM experience you can using this amazing tool, without bleeding you dry for every minute detail or feature you want to add. I've looked around the market (both mobile and online) and honestly, this is by far among the best, if not the best, tool for running a game.

This is an easy to use, easy to mod, tabletop for classic pen & paper RPG games. Our gaming group has been playing the Dragon Age RPG & Freeport using Fantasy AGE by Green Ronin publishing and a MASS Effect FATE RPG game - all classic pen & paper games without minis and maps - and this app is perfect when you absolutely need a visualization. There are plenty of D&D / Pathfinder minis and maps included, and you can easily import your own images of maps and characters for use on the map. You can scroll from 2D to 3D to get a sense of scale easy enough, which adds drama when you see how big a Bugbear or Darkspawn Ogre really is! This is the real deal.

Puppetmasterboy, This app is amazing but could be better This app is a dm's best friend for making great looking maps, and I would highly encourage any one with an iPad to use it. But it could be better. If this app had a way to put your images into folders (for both maps and characters) so that you can organize your images and access them quickly instead of scrolling through the entire list (which can get extremely long really fast), also my party likes to change the battlefield (place barriers make acid pools, etc.) so I'd would be nice to have a pen tool to draw directly of the game mat. But other than that this app is amazing 4/5 stars would recommend!

Fog of War Keep the sense of mystery going by revealing the map from the fog of war as characters explore. Works great over a network multiplayer connection where the GM can see a dimmed view of what is hidden. It can also be used on one device in the middle of the table that everyone looks at, where hidden areas are completely black. No need to set up complicated blocking layers and sight ranges, merely move your finger over a square to hide or reveal it. As a convenience you can also hide or reveal the entire map at once. Miniature Labelling Give all the miniatures on the map their proper name, and you can also change it as the battle progresses to mark all sorts of conditions or special effects.
This is great both for players identifying which adversaries they are going after, and GMs for keeping track of what is happening. Miniatures can be automatically labelled with their name when you place them, or start blank to make it easier to write your own label.
You can choose whether to display labels or not, whatever works the best for your game. Add Your Own Maps Importing your own maps gives you limitless regions to explore.
With the touch of a button you can customize the square grid to make it the right size. The preview at the bottom of the screen lets you shift the grid around to get it lined up perfectly. You can also use hex gridded maps by setting the size when you import the map, then turning off snap-to-grid when you use it on the tabletop. Images can come from your mobile device, or you can take a photo of a map or terrain that you have set up, and travel through it inside 3D Virtual Tabletop.
